Creating an eBay Account — Step by Step

Step 1: Go to eBay Visit ebay.com and click “Register” in the top-left corner.

Step 2: Choose Account Type Select Personal (individual seller) or Business (registered business or high-volume selling).

Step 3: Enter Your Details Fill in your name, email address, and create a password — or sign up with Google, Facebook, or Apple.

Step 4: Verify Your Email Check your inbox and click the confirmation link eBay sends you.

Step 5: Set Up Payments Go to My eBay → Account → Payments and connect your bank account to receive payouts.

Step 6: Add a Payment Method for Fees Add a credit or debit card to cover eBay’s seller fees.
