The mobile MoTak MCBR52-D-X chef base is constructed of stainless steel inside and out, and it features four heavy-duty swivel casters. The refrigerated base is designed to support the weight of other pieces of kitchen equipment, while its marine edge helps stabilize the added equipment and contain spills. The two-drawer base is effective for holding food items that need to be kept cold; it can accommodate aspect ratio gastronorm pans to organize the interior. The drawers are on heavy-duty sliders to withstand high capacities of food.

The MoTak MCBR52-D-X chef base measures 51⁷/₈ inches wide by 32¹/₈ inches deep by 25⁷/₈ inches high. It’s supplied with a condenser that is mounted on the side, making it accessible for servicing and maintenance. The refrigeration system uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant that reduces impact on the environment and conserves energy. Electronic controls regulate the internal temperature of the unit from 33 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit, keeping it at a safe temperature to store chilled food items.
